State of the art sound and lighting design, floor to ceiling illuminated imagery and a DJ on every floor...joe is the rebirth of one of Toronto's most celebrated architectural landmarks. Beginning on the first floor, the Lounge is designed to provide the comforts of home through the use of familiar materials and furnishings, assembled as a series of living rooms - a design inspired by a witty take on suburbia. Conceptualized from the famous beer halls of Belgium, the Drinking Hall is taking the traditional pub concept to the next level. This floor is the place to "enjoy the best of all Canadian pastimes...beer, hockey and patriotism". If you are in the mood to Dance, the high voluminous ceilings, surround sound and elevated DJ booth create the third level. The atmosphere is made up of a 40 foot Corian bar juxtaposed with random clustered seating areas of black suede that are set flawlessly to incorporate the fever of the night. The fifteen foot high illuminated walls create the image of "a rising sun breaking through the heavy morning mist of a dense forest". The final floor of the joe experience is the rooftop terrace that lets guests Breathe. Imagine standing on the most beautiful dock in Muskoka, and now drop it in the middle of the city.
